Getting Ready for Easter

Getting ready for Easter!

We’re gearing up for some Easter fun! This cute design is just right for the little one with some attitude. We love all of the holidays! How about you? Join us as we prepare for Easter with some of our favorite timely quotes!

“There would be no Christmas if there had not been Easter.”
          – Gordon B. Hinckley

Each year on Christmas eve we read a book as a family about the real reason for Christmas. This year, our five year old asked about Easter, so I may start a tradition to read a book about the real meaning of this holiday.

She says her favorite part of Easter is when the Easter Bunny hides eggs so she can run around and find them. I half expected her to say, candy! This year we hope to find a fun community Easter egg hunt to take her to.

“The very first Easter taught us this: that life never ends and love never dies.”
          – Kate McGahan

Life never ends, and love never dies. What a wonderful way to reflect on the meaning of Easter. With so many traditions surrounding each holiday, it’s fun to consider what new and fun things we can do to celebrate them together as a family. Lets have one more Easter quote for good measure.

“I still believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and true love. Don’t even try to tell me different.”
          – Dolly Parton

As parents, we believe in Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and true love. When you have little ones running around celebrating in the wonder of them all, and you really consider who those characters are, who they represent, where in life those souls came from, and what struggles they’ve faced and overcome, how can you not believe in them? We believe in all the Santa’s, Easter Bunnies, Tooth Fairies out there in this big ol’ world, and we believe in true love.
